Casino Night

The recipients of these awards were (from left to right) Greg Adams with McAdams Vinyl Siding, Rick Willis with MC Matrix, Alex Hutto with Securite Systems and Roy Garbutt with R & B.

An evening filled with laughter, competition and pure fun is the perfect way to describe the 2010 Safety Awards. The night was a casino theme, which allowed people to participate in casino games like blackjack, slots, craps and roulette with the option of bidding on prizes. Some of the prizes consisted of flat screen TVs, iPads, iPods, golf clubs, gift cards, gift baskets, fishing trips etc.

This is the 3rd annual Casino Night Safety Awards. IBG hosts this event annually to build and continue relationships with development partners, subcontractors and vendors.

Robert Fain stated at the event, “As important as quality and budget, safety has become a key component in every project IBG builds.”

Last night IBG recognized the best examples of project safety and leadership for 2010. The companies were Earth Development, Securite Systems, McAdams Vinyl Siding, Mc Matrix, R & B Construction and Galaxy.

Integral and IBG are building “green” at Ashley Auburn Pointe. The multi-family buildings are being built to “EarthCraft” specs and the leasing office will be certified LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design), the most recognized green building certification in the industry. Part of qualifications for the leasing office LEED-certification is the installation of GEOTHERMAL to heat and cool the building. Geothermal are ground source heat pumps (GSHPs) that are electrically powered systems that tap stored energy of the greatest solar collector in existence: the earth. These systems use the earth’s relatively constant temperature to provide heating, cooling, and hot water for homes and commercial buildings.
